Judith is a graduate of the College of Osteopaths. Prior to that she worked for 25 years as a Chartered Physiotherapist, where she gained a broad experience working in hospitals and latterly, in-house in a GP practice, where she helped to set up and run a Rheumatology clinic.
She is very experienced in treating a wide range of conditions, in all age groups, from small children upwards. She has a specific interest in back care. She set up and implemented a programme of manual handling and back care for the employees of Leighton Hospital Trust. She was also involved in the research trial "Impact Back " which was run by Keele University in 2008.
She regularly updates her knowledge by attending Post. Graduate Courses. This wealth of knowledge helps her to devise and implement a specific "taylor made" treatment plan for each individual patient.
When she is not at work, Judith enjoys working with and competing her horses in British Eventing and Dressage competitions and walking her dog around the Cheshire country side. She has been fortunate to work with and observe many of the country’s top riders and trainers. This has given her a deep insight into the problems that riders,(and horses), can develop as a result of training and competition.
Whether you are a sports person coping with injuries or just an every day member of the public coping with aches and pains, Judith is happy to have a no obligations discussion about the problems you are having and will be able to advise you whether osteopathic treatment can help.
